In other words, we can use observation and 'right reasoning' to extrapolate a universal moral code, an objective moral standard that applies to all moral agents, everywhere, in all times. Apparently, Glenn Beck is telling his audience that a national divorce will lead to the loss of society. With due respect to Mr. Beck, we have already lost the society for which he pines.
