It's 'Conspiracy Theory' Thursday: the day we set aside to look at a specific 'conspiracy theory' and decide whether it is just a cook idea or maybe there might be something to it that 'They' don't want us to consider. It's 'Fallacy Friday:' the day we set aside to study Logic, Reason and Critical Thinking. Today, we are going to do some applied logic: we will be using the rules of Logic to continue our evaluation of the 'Hebrew Roots Movement" (HRM). The HRM is a religious issue, but it is directly connected to the Scriptures, which can be interpreted in several ways based on our world view. We will be using this issue as our illustration as we look at how Logic can be used to help us sort through what is otherwise a very confusing and contentious issue. Starting with this class, we will be digging into the validity of the arguments for and against the HRM. No matter what your personal beliefs, we hope you will join us for this show.
NOTE: We previously set the table for today's class in show #316, and continued in CLASSES 321 and 326. If you have not already seen them both, you may want to watch them before watching today's class (or review them after watching today's class).
