CLASS #427: The Progressive Reasoning Behind Their Perceived Need for 'Change'

We continue our series on the Founders of the American Progressive movement of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Today's class will be covering Charles Beard and Jane Addams as they try to explain (and justify) the Progressive interpretations of American history as it relates to the political structures of the times. This is where we will start to see and understand that there really is no consistent or cohesive reasoning behind the Progressive ideology. We hope you'll join us as these Progressive founders illustrate our point.

We are working from Ronald J. Pestritto's book, "American Progressivism:"
