CLASS #523: YHWH Divides Jacob into the Houses of Israel and Judah

This is Part 4 in our series on the Two Houses of Israel.
In today's class, we will look at the Scriptures where YHWH divides the House of Jacob into the House of Israel and the House of Judah. We will show how the prophets use this language from that point, and how it is used through to the Book of Revelation. We will even show where Messiah used the term. CLASS #519: We Are Reaping the Price for Abandoning Honor and Shame

The philosopher and sociologist in me have been having a discussion about the state of our current society (yes, that's correct, there are 'voices in my head'). They both came to the same conclusion: we are reaping the price for having abandoned the notions of honor and shame. This is an area few Americans even think about today, but it has always been the glue that has held hu8man society together. I think I'd like to just ramble about this topic and share some of the philosopher-sociologist thoughts bouncing around in my head (yep, I'm going to let you know what two of the voices in my head are saying to each other). CLASS #518: The Bible on Gods, Angels, Demons and Extra-Terrestrials

There is a great deal of interest in the notion of "Ancient Aliens" and the idea that they may somehow be connected to the Biblical narrative. Many of the voices speaking on this subject can be quite convincing. However, the majority of these voices are either ill-informed or, worse, pushing a narrative for motives other than building up the Body. Today, we tackle this general subject. CLASS #517: “As It Was In The Days Of Noah,” Judges 2 And Today

Many believers are familiar with the phrase, "As in the days of Noah (and Lot)." They may even be familiar with the general meaning behind the Messiah's warning, and how it appears to apply to the conditions of our modern times. But we wonder whether or not they are aware of the repeating pattern found in the Messiah's warning. Today, we will take a look at "The Days of Noah and Lot," but we will also look at Judges 2 and link the pattern to the events of today. CLASS #516: Be Careful With All The Bible 'Teachings' Out There

I continuously search for sound Scripture teachings. I read books and watch videos, but seldom find anything I can accept without having to correct it. Mind you, I know I am not perfect, nor am I a profit. I know I still have a lot to learn about the Word. That's why I look for good teaching. But I am also a serious student of Scripture, and I try to remember what I have learned, and this is why I have so much trouble with the teachings currently in this world. So, let's talk about how to discern good teaching from not so good from truly bad teaching.
